BoBo, this is a very nice story, unfortunately you have posted it on the Netscape thread for everybody to comment, actually you could have made a lot of money, had you sold it to somebody in the Hollywood movie industry, it might even be a big box office like the Harry Potter in brainwashed America. She supposed to have learned Arabic form an academy in Egypt but failed to learn the meaning of the word Jihad. George Bush knows the meaning of Jihad very well because he ordered his forces to commit 'hara-kiri' in Iraq while NATO is doing that in Afghanistan. You should remember one thing, you can always fight common criminals in your home town but to fight the religion of peace, you need more brain than rhetoric and words.

I heartily salute Ms. Rossmiller for her heroic efforts. But I equally deplore the despicable efforts to equate her efforts to boost the US fight against terrorism with Libby's (Cheney's) efforts to promote know false intelligence as truth.

Perjury and Obstruction of Justice is the same as perusing terrorist? How many covert CIA operatives used the same cover as Valerie Plame? What happened to them and their contacts after she was outed by Cheney for false political purposes?
Don't you Republicans realize that as soon as Ms. Plame was outed, every enemy of the USA ran her cover company through their database and found out who had dealings with that company, who else worked for it...?

KingOfTruthiness. Talk about talking points. OMG, you are full of them. Libby was convicted by a jury of his peers on multiple counts of perjury and obstruction of justice. If one has a poor memory, it's perfectly acceptable to tell a grand jury that you don't remember. Perjury doesn't come form a poor memory, it comes from lying when asked direct questions under oath.
The record is clear that she was an undercover agent. I frankly don't know who else was using her cover. I seriously doubt you do either. Apparently, because of your extreme right wing prejudice, you could care less who may have been disabled as a covert operative or even killed over this.

Whiskey. I find it appalling because it seems to me that we are rapidly approaching vigilantism. Government has simply abdicated any realistic role due to the elite's fears/loathing of the people. I am profoundly disturbed by this story. It seems to me to be a crisis in the making. The woman is brave and admirable. But relying on a few scattered individuals rather than a organized mass is not how the West fights and will lead IMHO to disaster and replacement of the Nation-State with, well a populist militarist Nation-State. All because of the corruption of the elites.

What this may lead to is state militias defending each state. which is allowed under the Constitution as the militia is made up of US citizens who know how to use weapons properly.. militias are not under the control of the US Government..once the alien invasion gets too far out of control(if it hasn't already) or the Muslims start blowing things up, who you going to call?

Yeah...where are all of these Christian fascists anyway? Last time I checked no country has outlawed other religions than Christianity or forced them to pay taxes for not being a Christian.

Interesting that she was exposed in such a careless and mundane manner by the very gov't she was protecting. But then again we are talking about the popular American idea, shades of Hollywood, 007, and with a dash of DC backstabbing, of counter-espionage and counter-terrorism i.e., only the socially and politically elite can manage such sensitive issues. My hat is off to her for being so persistent in her effort and closing the trap by having the facts present to back her up. Good job but a somewhat unfortunate ending in that she could of gone 'under' for our side and probably would have been very effective at uncovering more warrior's for the Religion of Peace and their nefarious intentions, obvious or covert, as voiced over the Internet and through other mediums.
